Welcome to my auction - Up for your consideration is this vintage, Art Deco era demi parure. The set includes a large brooch and matching earrings made of sterling silver with a gold wash or vermeil on backs. Gold may have originally been on front also but has been polished away over the years. The unique, large brooch features a bouquet of long stemmed aqua rhinestone flowers, each accented with a silver leaf. The stems are a thin wire allowing the flowers to gently move. The stems are gathered together under a beautiful repousse rose and leaf. The screw back earrings feature the same stone, leaf design. All three pieces are marked Sterling, no maker mark found. The stones are prong set and grommet mounted.
CONDITION
- The set is in fine, antique/vintage, pre-owned condition! Some normal age/use wear, stones show surface wear and some very small chipping, all show a yellow hue from the brass looking setting coming through, original found patina - as with all of my estate jewelry, I have not cleaned or polished them. Please see photos as part of condition.
SIZE
- Brooch measures approximately 3 7/8" long, 2 1/4" wide across bouquet, earrings are 1" long, 1/2" wide.
