    Description

    Authentic piece of the Berlin Wall, West German side.  Specifically from the well-known "Checkpoint Charlie" crossing area of the wall.
    From an adult collectors' collection held over 30 years.  It's my personal piece.
    Nice thing about this Berlin Wall piece is that it is in a container that has kept debris and dust and fingers off of it for 31+ years.  Many of those years, about 28 of them, it was stored away and uv light did not touch it.  Its anchored to the base of the container which also identifies the piece and what section of the wall it is from, the famous/infamous Checkpoint Charlie crossover point.  Finally, behind it is a picture of that section of the wall before it was taken down.  On the reverse of the image is some writing in German signifying this is an original piece of the Berlin Wall.
    Lots of nice details and touches here.
