    Margaret Thatcher's personally owned Hymns & Psalms, presented to Thatcher as Prime Minister on 11 December 1989 by the Friends of Wesley's Chapel in London. An inspiration to Methodists around the world, Wesley's Chapel resides next to the home of John Wesley, founder of the Methodist movement, and also houses the Museum of Methodism. London: Methodist Publishing House, 1985. Softcover book features gilt lettering on spine and a gilt rendition of the statue of John Wesley on front cover with his quote, "The World Is My Parish". All edges gilt, with pictorial endpapers and satin page marker. Light wear, else near fine condition. With Christie's provenance.
