    pre-1990s WESTERN GERMANY Wooden FRUCTOSE Barrel Lid - Cool COLD WAR Survivor !!
    Up for auction is an unusual vintage wooden FRUCTOSE raw sugar barrel lid for a 100 pound sugar barrel. The cool thing about this piece is that it says made in WESTERN GERMANY - a cold war survivor here.
    No company markings, just the stencil lettering on the top.
    Came with two strips of very thin wood strips almost like veneer that may be a barrel rim or something, these will be included, they are curled so feel they are part of this lid somehow.
    Outer diameter is 16 inches, inner diameter is about 15-1/2 inches, 3/8 inch thick.
    Good condition, stencil lettering is strong, no cracks or breaks.
    Local flea market find.
    Its
    being sold as is, as pictured, as found.
    Could be repurposed into a super cool accent piece - use your imagination !!!
