Vintage/Antique, Magna Carta 1215 Print, Framed, Circa Early 1900s, Walter Dunn.
This is an early print which I estimate to have been printed by M. Walter Dunn Publisher around the early 1900s. This was framed by “The Little Picture Shop” in Rochelle, NY which was in business between 1899 and around mid/late 1950s. My best projection is that the framing was done around 1920 or 1930 give or take 10 years, its a guess. There was a short news article on Perot acquiring the original Magna Carta document from 1984.
The condition of the frame is poor, although it can be hung, although I would recommend a restoration prior to wall usage. The Backing paper is very brittle and i have placed a backing board over it to retain it as best i can and will secure it in paper and wrap until packaging. I do not want to separate the print from the frame, as I believe a large part of the value is in the combined package.
The picture (including frame) is 31” x 22 3/4”. The picture by itself is 29 3/4” x 21 1/2”.
This wont be a very difficult picture to ship, but any medium+ picture can get pricey. The picture and frame/glass weighs about 10lb, and I project the final package will be approx 15lb and 34” x 25” x 4” and will ship via UPS Ground.

Comics always bagged and boarded and are shipped in Gemini mailers (9 or less) and Books will be wrapped, taped to backing board, and placed in bubble mailer. Orders (and payment) received before noon will usually ship that same day or next business day if on a weekend or holiday. Special requests accepted within reason. I do not intentionally overstate shipping weight or ship a lower level without contacting buyer. I have a major tendency to be over-protective for items regardless of value, unfortunately I can’t control all aspects of the delivery services but do my best to anticipate and follow-up.
Returns: 30 day no-risk returns and seller (i.e. ME) pays return shipping unless otherwise stated in the listing. You’re worst case situation is that you will get ALL of your money refunded should it not meet your expectations (product and shipping). Refund and Return requests must be handled through the eBay Return process.
Payment: Buyers are expected to pay within 48 hours of a successful auction or listing. After 48 hours of non-payment, the order will be cancelled on the buyer’s behalf and the item will be re-listed unless you have contacted me.
